What follows is the history of your club from 1903 to 1967. In order to reproduce this we have the permission of the family
of the author Mr J. Gannaway.
The original document is kept in the secretaries office and can be seen by appointment.
I have attempted to reproduce as faithfully as possible the contents and accompanying newspaper articles, for their support
and permission to reproduce these articles we thank 'The Sutton News'.
The news articles are accompanied by a readable text page on a new screen, to continue past that point close the screen
and return to the history.
The past is history; The past is a guidepost, not a hitching post. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. |
